Pin & Tumbler

OBJECTIVE

Pin & Tumbler was born of the idea that Allegion engineers work better when given the freedom to be creative. Pioneering an innovation studio within the organization was intended to provide their teams with a space to be uninhibited and make things simply for the sake of making them. Allegion developed a make-shift identity for the studio, but they needed help elevating it to go to market.

SOLUTION

A four-day design sprint to develop four distinct brand identity concepts with market differentiators and thoughtful visuals.

MY ROLE

As a designer, I was responsible for building on Allegion's existing identity design for Pin & Tumbler to elevate it to meet the standards of the other three net-new concepts presented at the conclusion of the design sprint.

Exploration of custom typography developed fromwords typed on a vintage Remington Travel-Riter.
