Holy Cross Campus
BACKGROUND
Despite its rich local history, The Church of the Holy Cross was closed in 2014 due to declining congregation numbers. Parts of the campus remained in use for a while after, but ultimately the entire site was vacated in 2016. In recent years, community members have advocated for its restoration, and in 2024, the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission designated the church as a historic landmark. This project proposes a new chapter for Holy Cross.
